We understand what a difficult time it can be when you lose a loved one. The team at Wealden Crematorium is here to help you every step of the way – be it arranging a funeral, attending one or choosing a memorial to remember someone special.
Gabriella - Crematorium Manager
Gabriella has been involved with the Crematorium since the project started in 2016. She has now taken on the role of Crematorium Manager and is very much enjoying working with the team to ensure that the service provided here at the Crematorium is second to none. She loves knowing that the whole team is dedicated to treating everyone with dignity and respect.
Alex - Senior Crematorium Officer
Alex has worked within the funeral services since 2015. Qualifying as a Cremation Technician in 2018 he was eager to be a part of the team to open and work at Wealden Crematorium. Alex thoroughly enjoys his job and takes pride in what he does. His favourite things about Wealden Crematorium is the architecture of the building and the peaceful setting.
Carol - Administration Officer
Carol joined the team in May 2019 after spending 3 years working for Age Concern in Eastbourne. She works as part of the admin team assisting with bookings, availability and services. Carol is a keen golfer and can usually be found over at Horam Park Golf Club on her days off.
Julie - Administration Officer
Julie joined Wealden Crematorium in May 2019 after working at Eastbourne Crematorium for almost 8 years. Julie is part of the dream admin team and assists with the arrangements for the funeral services. She is known to ride to work on her Harley Davidson motorbike but only when the weather is fine!
Katie - Crematorium Officer
Katie started working at Wealden Crematorium in March 2019, after spending many years in the ambulance service. The change in career has been refreshing, especially in such a lovely countryside setting. Out of work Katie enjoys reading, cuddling cats and running the odd 5k and 10k on occasions!
Lisa - Crematorium Officer / Administration Officer
Lisa joined the team in May 2019 after spending 10 months working for a travel company in Cambodia. She is proud to be part of the admin team. Lisa’s favourite things about Wealden Crematorium are the beautiful wildflowers and she loves being able to cycle to work every day (even in the rain, although in winter it's a real push to get on the bike!).
